Ernest Mensah-Pah: My relationship with my partner is rather a fascinating one. Neither of us trusted having a solemn future together, but we do have it now, and more interestingly, we’re blending our similarities and difference. We have the same sense of humour and we share the same values. We love each other and we are connected on many levels.
Mavis Mensah-Pah: The Mensah-Pah family is a young Black Ghanaian couple with an adorable one year one daughter. Myself a Financial Analyst and an Entrepreneur, whilst my partner is in the Mining Industry as a Safety and Training officer. We just celebrated our 1-year anniversary based in Pretoria – South Africa. We are passionate about family and close friends and value them immensely. God fearing in Becoming ONE, as God is the centre of it all.

Ernest Mensah-Pah: My lovely wife is a Financial Analyst with the Government of the Republic of South Africa.
Mavis Mensah-Pah: His career has always been known to me as a Safety officer, and Training and Development in the Mining Industry.

Ernest Mensah-Pah: What keeps me motivated, inspired and going all out for my marriage and relationship every day.

MOZIAK MAGAZINE: WHAT DO YOU RECALL THE MOST VIVIDLY ABOUT YOUR FIRST DATE TOGETHER?
Ernest Mensah-Pah: It was on a lunch date at Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast in Accra, Ghana. I kept her waiting as I showed up late. Due to Accra traffic “It was not my fault sorry babe”.
Mavis Mensah-Pah: Waited for about 30 minutes for him. I do not play with my time and therefore was not a good start.
MOZIAK MAGAZINE: WHO IS THE MORE ROMANTIC PARTNER IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP?
Ernest Mensah-Pah: Myself of course, “Mr Romantic”.
Mavis Mensah-Pah: I would say he is.

Ernest Mensah-Pah: One area we have seen significant growth is our social life. We chose to mix our traditions and grow along by learning and it has helped us grow.
Mavis Mensah-Pah: Becoming one. Committing in getting married, a sense of purpose.

Ernest Mensah-Pah: We discuss to solve problems.
Mavis Mensah-Pah: We talk through the cause of the conflict and come to a compromise.

Ernest Mensah-Pah: To stage an apology to my wife by buying her gifts for a wrongful deed (I would rather apologise directly and not have to compensate with anything).
