Three years after the inaugural Standard Bank Joburg Polo in the Park, it returned in April. Hosted by media mogul Minnie Dlamini, the event was a huge success. Attendees were promised an experience of splendour which is precisely what they received.
Lovers of the sport and celebrities alike came out in their numbers to enjoy a day of polo, luxury, and a great atmosphere. Dressed to the nines, Gauteng’s premium residential lifestyle estate Steyn City was the place to be. Drinks and delicious food flowed copiously amidst the Premium VIP Hospitality Marquees while some of the best DJs played their perfectly curated playlists.
Some familiar faces in attendance include sisters Candice and Refilwe Modiselle, comedienne Nina Hastie, influencer Kefilwe Mabote, former Miss SA Shudufhadzo Musina, and many more.
From Johannesburg, the business capital of the province to the rest of South Africa and eventually the African continent, this event is set to become an intercontinental fixture on the sporting/social calendar.
