It’s been a spectacular Friday for new music and we’re not even close to the end of the day yet! From Nigeria, Wizkid has finally released his highly anticipated record Made in Lagos; in the States, pop heads are going crazy over Ariana Grande – but closer to home, it’s one man who has had the whole country talking: The multi-talented Harrison Mkhize.
The Durbanite has seen his star rise over the past few years. Not only did he catch the eye as one of the most gifted on-screen talents on SABC 3’s presenter search, coming a close 3rd in that competition, but he has proven himself to be one of the most engaging radio personalities in the country as a host on Gagasi FM’s Weekend’s lineup and now he’s proving himself as a gifted musician too.
The man with the smooth voice released a new single titled “Stranger’s Love” on social media this Friday and it has instantly gone viral – capturing hearts and emotions across the country.
Speaking to Moziak Magazine, Harrison said about the song:
“The song is titled Stranger’s Love because it speaks of a love between 2 people who meet for the first time. It speaks of people who are from different parts of the world but end up together and experience a love that is greater than any other love they’ve experienced before.
It is drawn from my experiences with love. I’ve always been a firm believer of love at first sight. This song beautifully captures the idea that as much a stranger danger is a real thing. A stranger’s love is also a real thing, especially at first sight.”

That’s not all, either. Harrison will be hosting a one-night-only launch with some of his closest friends and family this week as he unveils the ne single and also celebrates his birthday at the same time. The launch promises to be an intimate affair and the crooner described what’s to come when he said,
“I will be hosting a launch / lunch with 20 close friends and family this Saturday. We will be celebrating my birthday which was on the 19/10/2020 and also having the song listened to for the first time. I might throw in an exclusive first ever performance.”
