Thato “DJ Fresh” Sikwane aka the Big Dawg announced this morning that as of 1 August 2019, he’ll be the new host on 947’s weekday afternoon drive show from 3pm – 7pm bringing us #FreshOn947!
“You had us at hello!” was the catch phrase that caught our attention in the promo video released this morning. Cute? Yes. But for us, the phrase really speaks to the brand magnitude of what the name DJ Fresh carries.
With over 30 years in the entertainment industry, DJ Fresh is not only a household name, but a very in demand one at that. Very few broadcasters today are in a position to move from one station to another in a blink of time regardless of the circumstance.
We can only imagine all the offers that were put on the table for DJ Fresh. Big ups to 947 for sealing the deal!
