It’s officially the beginning of Youth Month in South Africa and this is reflected in the youth-driven energy we’ve seen in recent weeks. From the support to the USA’s George Floyd and Black Lives Matter protests, to our very own movements in South Africa, as thousands protested against the injustice suffered by Collins Khosa.
Millennials have been at the forefront of the revolution, and it’s no surprise that the music which is trending today – on the first #NewMusicFriday of June – is punctuated by youthful exuberance.
And hey, you don’t have to be any age to be youthful. I’m approaching 30 but still appreciate my youthfulness – and through the music below, I sincerely hope you’ll be able to as well!
