Ahead of her fourth studio album titled “Woman of Steel” which is expected to drop later this year, Yemi Alade is making boss moves with her latest feature with Rick Ross and collaboration with Belaire sparkling wine and Bumbu rum.
Joining a handful of elite high-profile global musicians to collaborate with Belaire and Bumbu, Yemi Alade is raising the bar for African music videos and is letting us know she’s not here to play.
Keeping its African flavour, Yemi Alade’s “Oh My Gosh” remix with Rick Ross hits all the right spots and is accompanied with a steamy music video which has already surpassed 2.5 million views on YouTube since its release two weeks ago.
In a recent interview on the Fresh Breakfast show on Metro FM with DJ Fresh and Relebogile Mabotja, Yemi Alade shared that her experience on set with Rick Ross was more than pleasant. She described him as being humble and that they had great chemistry and hoped it translated in the music video. It did. Watch the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ai4dGXc_Q_Q
Undoubtedly one of the hardest working women in music on the continent right now, we look forward to hearing Yemi Alade’s “Woman of Steel” which also features Grammy Award winner Angélique Kidjo, Afrobeats icon Duncan Mighty and Nollywood star Funke Akindele.
