Testimony follows the successful release of Lonely (Valentine) by S.O.N Musa Keys, Zādok himself and Chukido that was released on the 11th of February and bares audacious witness to the often hard to explain depth felt while experiencing authentic love and how it renders an intense feeling of a heightened sense of renewal, sheer beauty and peace of mind.
Informed by an expert detail to musicality owing to his veteran-esque experience with music, Zādok makes a stellar display of refined musical curation. Delving into a serene rhythm informed by mid-tempo Afrobeat drum patterns with a hint of the signature Amapiano log drum coated with subtle base guitars, percussions and the presence of ambient reverse sampling.
Zādok enlists the vocal expertise of the Afrikan Prince, the Nigerian born, South African based producer, songwriter, composer, music teacher, model, footballer, and Actor Chukido. Shying away from the signature alto tonality prominent in the boisterous hits of Afrobeat artists, Chukido takes a breezy approach coupled with heavenly harmonizations.
“The song was/is inspired by my sweet woman she’s my everything. So many reasons I will choose her over other ladies in the world. I feel alive and happy that the world will be inspired by my song and people who are heartbroken will find love through this song and I so believe that it will bring so much blessings to me and everyone who is part of it,” expresses Chukido.
