“I want my music to be known in Africa as that sound of hope and strength because I celebrate the beauty and taste of Africa, I want my music to be represented of those qualities and be an entity seen globally as an African force,” Eternal Africa says as we chat over the phone.
“If you want a sound from Africa I want you to just contact Eternal Africa.”
The upcoming producer to watch whose real name is Eternal Mbamara has been having a great run with collaborations with DJ Tira and songs such as fan favourite Nalingi, which he worked on and went to top the charts on almost every radio station.
“I feel good because when mainstream art believes in your work and legends begin to associate with you it means you are on the right path, you are doing the right thing and are actually talented so it’s exciting.”
The artist has always stayed true to his sound of creating a positive message through his art which can be heard and seen in his new single titled, ‘No Fear’.
With the digital and social media age being part of our daily lives we find that positivity is often sometimes so hard to find amongst the constant pressure, comparisons and bullying that stops us from living our best lives. He was then inspired to create ‘No Fear’.
“When you go on social media and around your community or neighbourhood there is this vibe of fear people have and it makes them not express themselves boldly so ‘No Fear’ is a song that I believe would inspire hope into you and give you that nudge to face your challenges and troubles that come your way,” he says.
“No matter the challenges you’re facing having a no fear mentality may help you find the best solution for the problem.”
Mbamara brought the song to life by encouraging people from all walks of life to send through pictures of themselves that represented their idea of overcoming fear which was used for the music video.
The artist is sure to be one of Africa’s talents to watch and is said to be working on projects with Nigeria’s Seyi Shay and Sho Madjozi.
