1.What city are you currently in and what do you love most about this city?
Johannesburg. I love Joburg because it’s home. My entire family is here. Everything is quick in Joburg and I love the fast life. I’m a city girl. Everything is easily accessible in a city.
2.Your favourite hangout spot in your home town is?
I was born in Soweto so it’s definitely all the hot spots in Soweto, Vilakazi Street and Moja Cafe. I get to meet so many different people from different parts of Joburg. Vilakazi Street is also a great tourist attraction.

3.A song that perfectly describes your country right now?
Beautiful – Mali Music. People are going through so much right now but they still have hope and they are holding their heads up high irrespective of the challenges we are facing with the pandemic and the economy.

The Heart of a Woman by Maya Angelou.
6.What would you say is the biggest artistic impact Africa has had on the world?
It’s hard to say specifically because our culture has been commercialized globally from the way we dress, to our music and even our food. Africa has influenced a lot of western pop culture the only difference is now its being recognized for its contribution.

7.What is that one African dish you wish the entire world knew about?
Pap & braai’d meat with chakalaka. It’s such a simple but delicious meal.
8.What does your name mean?
It means he/she has been given to us.
9.If you had one superpower what would it be and why?
I’d want to be able to erase people’s bad memories and make everyone happy. There is so much pain in the world, it would be nice to give people a break from it all.

10.If you weren’t a famous media personality what would you be?
I’ve honestly never imagined myself doing anything else either than entertainment. I started singing and dancing at a very young age and it’s always been my passion. I think I’d probably be a stay at home mum. I love kids.
