The British singer/songwriter and celebrity vocal coach of African and Caribbean descent has toured the US, UK, and Africa opening for Lauryn Hill, Brandy, Musiq Soulchild, K. Michelle, Kirk Franklin, and Fred Hammond. As a vocal coach Kerr has worked with some of Africa’s finest artists including Tiwa Savage, P-Square, and Waje.
“Masterpeace” which happens to be her debut album has been four years in the making. The 11-track album showcases the vocal sensation’s diversity and versatility. Kerr describes the project as her most authentic, vulnerable, and ground-breaking body of work yet.
When asked about the creative process behind “Masterpeace” the singer said, “You only get one debut album… it has to be right. I want to be proud and moved to listen to it 20 years from now… so after 4 years, finally, I have peace, it’s ready, so I present to you my Master-peace!”
