When Shekhinah released her debut album Rose Gold we were treated to a vast array of emotions as the album took us on her long journey to where she is now. Introduced on Idols SA many years ago, we always knew the angel would be a star.
She has arrived with the remix to her highly acclaimed Suited song featuring Mr Eazi. Still showcasing the DNA of the original, the twist comes with the subtle hints of Afro Beats. With an increasing attraction to collaborate with other African artists, Mr Eazi was an easy pick to accompany the songstress. His voice complimenting the smoothness of the song and lyrical content and adding value in the words “your love is mine, you can’t divide” and “cause you know say you be my design”.
The more one listens to the song the more one would imagine that the duet are singing to each other and that they truly are suited for each other. This single would happily have me falling in love again and for that I give it a 4 out of 5.
