I had the privilege of attending the biggest two-day Beauty Festival in South Africa for Moziak Magazine, Beauty Revolution! It was filled with lots of powerful and beautiful women and of course SLAYAGE! The theme of the festival was Beauty with a Purpose. Various talks were held at the festival with different influential women highlighting the theme.
The beauty festival had over 100 stands with your favourite brands such as MAC Cosmetics, Black Opal, L’Oréal etc. There were also stands representing the hair industry and these include Candi&Co, Auntie Jackies etc. The Beauty Revolution festival was a fun event to be at and there was a huge opportunity for people to network and take pictures with their favourite influencers.
The purpose of the Beauty Revolution festival is to create a perfectly-curated platform for influencers, artists, makeup enthusiasts and all shades and shapes in between. The festival provided Instagrammable moments, on-stage panels and brand stands to shop the hottest looks of the year and I must say they delivered! The festival also had masterclasses where people could learn from their favourite makeup artists for example how to do makeup. There were also Masterclasses on hair, Candi&Co had one on natural hair, showing fellow natural hair sisters how to take care of their hair.
People could get tattoos, henna, face art and a whole lot of cool stuff. It was a great and fun festival to be at. Did I mention how the DJs made the festival 10x better?
Try not to miss the Beauty Festival next year if you are a lover of all things fabulous!
