1.What’s your favourite Christmas memory?
I love the Christmas holidays and the whole season holds beautiful memories for me. It’s family time so from decorating the Christmas tree early in December to spending Christmas Eve together as a family, Christmas is always about family and the memories are priceless.
2.Where are we likely to spot you this festive season?
I’m kicking off the festivities with a trip to Zanzibar with my sister! Zanzibar holds a very special place in my heart and Stonetown is one of the most intriguing cities I’ve ever visited. I love the people of Zanzibar and can’t wait to soak up the sun on their beautiful beaches and mingle with the locals.
December is a busy time for our family. My parents are visiting, and we have two birthdays between Christmas and New Year, so we will be in Jozi for Christmas, before we leave for our annual family holiday early in January.

8.The one dish you have to have on Christmas Day?
It’s not one dish only… we always do a traditional Christmas dinner if we are at home. The must haves are turkey, gammon, leg of lamb, tongue, spicy rice, seafood paella, red berry meringue roulade, ice-cream… the whole lot!
9.What’s on your Christmas wish list this year?
Gifts are nice but quality time with each and every one of my children is what I want most of all.
