Manana lets us into a deeply personal and life-defining moment by sharing with us his 2021 single ‘I can’t believe I get to call you mine’, which is sure to resonate with lovers worldwide.
This song is Manana’s long-awaited return after the release of his debut EP ‘In The Beginning Was The End’ released in 2020 (Nominated for Best produced Album of the Year at the 2021 SAMA’s) and begins the anticipation for his next EP which will be out in early 2022.
The song was written as a gift to his wife on their wedding day and expresses the biblical concept of two individuals becoming one flesh. The song vividly tells a story of his promise of unending love, his gift to her.
In the single artwork, we see a wedding photograph from his special day of two hands united, as well as the date of Manana’s wedding when the photograph was taken.
“This is song is very special to me. I wrote it for my wife for our wedding day and as the lyrics say, I honestly struggled to express what that day meant, or what Vuyi (my wife) means to me. And I know a lot of people struggle with their special day too. So, I thought this song could help with that. I hope it does,” shares Manana.
