1.What city are you currently in and what do you love most about this city?
I am currently in Delhi, India. I love the vibrancy of India, and how rich the culture and heritage are. It’s all around you; the history of this nation, how spiritual the people are despite it all, the combination of politics and industry with the social glam element to it.
2.Your favourite hangout spot in your home town is?
My fave hangout spot, has to be my home. It’s absolutely my haven. I’ve created a masterpiece and it’s an extension of me in every way. The dichotomy of east and west, luxury and comfort. I’m very happy at home.
3.A song that perfectly describes your country right now?
Imagine by John Lennon. That’s what I want us all to sing.
4.What is on your music playlist currently?
I continue to love “Gypsey Kings” and lots of Indian classics.
5.What are you reading?
Currently reading the chapters I’ve been writing on my own book, soon to be published. A journey my father and I undertook to give life a chance.
6.What would you say is the biggest artistic impact Africa has had on the world?
Everywhere I go in the world, I discover fascinating things; only to find out it’s by a South African. We have gone out in the world, as enterprising as we are and created beautiful works globally – from restaurants to businesses. So our impact is wide and vast, and ever growing.
7.What is that one African dish you wish the entire world knew about?
Bunny chow!
8.What does your name mean?
It’s Gaelic. It means high place, elevated place.
9.If you had one super power what would it be and why?
The ability to cast a spell and make the world dance to my tune.
10.If you weren’t a famous actor and model what would you be?
I would be a doctor, practicing in my chain of clinics, giving seminars around the world, writing books and have my own tv show!!
